Happy Easter!!

Actually all these pics are from the day before Easter.  We went to an egg hunt thrown by three churches in our town, including ours.

Jack was a little unsure at first, but he warmed up.

OMG, how cute are these????

they think they're cool

can't live without Nana

I was very impressed with Jackson's egg hunting skills.

He went after it!

the loot

After the egg hunt we came home to color eggs. I wasn't impressed with the dye kit we bought, but it was cheap and you get what you pay for.  Next year when the kids are older, I'm going to try some of the cool pinterest ideas for dying eggs.

Wishing you all a Happy Easter Sunday!!
Remember the true meaning of Easter, it's not bunnies, baskets, or candy.
It's all about the fact that we have a LIVING GOD!!!!

my artist and my piglet

So Abigail has really been into art lately.  I'm planning on sending her to an art camp this summer.
These pictures were taken while she was a still a bit sick.

It seemed like Jackson ate hardly anything for two weeks while he was sick.  Then bam!  He got him some Tylenol with codeine and he couldn't shovel it in fast enough.

He ate two bowls of some yummy homemade chicken noodle soup.

He didn't stop there.  He had to have some dessert of course.

Yummy!!!

So I've been experimenting with the manual settings on my camera.  I think my outside pictures aren't too bad, but these inside ones are a pain in the behind.

best buds

I love the fact that even though these two are almost 4 years apart, they can still play together.  I'm positive they will be best buds.  Jack loves both Abigail and Austin, but seems to follow Austin around a little more.  He is just more interested in the boy stuff, I guess.

They both love playing on Daddy's new lawn mower.

Love my guys!!
