My Living God

I have said before that I want my blog to be a place where I am honest and real with my readers.  So I am going to tell you today about the most important and real life changing decision I have ever made.  Deciding to follow God and surrender my life to his will was the best decision I have ever made.  With Easter coming up, I felt like it wouldn't be right if I didn't take this opportunity to let you know how much He loves you and wants to be a part of your life. 

If you have never made the decision to accept the gift of eternal that God has give to any who asks, then I highly recommend you do.  You know that unsure feeling you get when someone starts talking about salvation, heaven/hell, or being a follower of God? That is the holy spirit speaking to you and guiding you toward the Savior.  The only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for all our sins so that we could have eternal life.  There are no perfect words to pray, just be honest and speak from your heart.  Turn your life over to God and you will not regret it.

Just saying you believe there is a God and that you are trying to be a good person is not enough.  I hope this doesn't sound too harsh, but to anyone reading this that doesn't know Him as Lord and Savior, I love you and pray that you will not run from God, but run to Him.  He doesn't promise that everything in your life will magically be better when you become a Christian, but he does promise to be with us through all things and the assurance of Heaven is also a pretty awesome thing.

I am not even close to being perfect, no one is, but thankfully I have a God who forgives and loves me despite my sinful ways.  If you have questions about salvation please don't hesitate to ask.  I may not know the answers, but I will find someone who does and get back to you.  Don't put this off.
