Toledo Getaway

We went on a quick trip to Toledo Bend to visit Brent's grandparents. They have a really nice place up there. It only takes about two hours to get there so the car trip was pretty easy. It's quiet, peaceful, and picturesque! It's always been a place we could go cheap to get away from life.

Brent took the kids fishing and they had a blast. Even more fun than fishing was playing on the stairs.

Jackson was a bit of a handful, so it wasn't really super relaxing for me, but it was nice to get away for a couple days and forget about our stresses back home.

We came home with enough fish for a nice fish fry, and I love me some fried fish!!
